Labelled I-SITE in February 2017 during the second wave of the Investments for the Future Programme (Programme d’investissements d’avenir, PIA2), the Université Lille Nord-Europe (ULNE) project received an allocation of 500 million euros to support, over 10 years, the creation of the future major international university “Université de Lille”.
The project is based on the four following axes:
- Structure research
- Support pedagogical and digital innovation
- Accelerate recognition, the transfer of research and collaboration with business
- Increase international visibility and create a European campus
