Promoted by the Prof. Philippe Froguel, PreciDIAB was evaluated by an international jury and received the label of National Center for Precision Diabetic Medicine by the French government. Coordinated by the I-SITE ULNE, the project is sustained by the Métropole Européenne de Lille, Amiens Métropole, the Région Hauts-de-France, the Agence National de la Recherche, and the European Union. PreciDIAB is a unique multidisciplinary collaborative venture between specialists from all diabetes related fields. PreciDIAB main objective is to foster the development of new solutions to control diabetes and comorbidities, and to offer diabetic patients the same quality of life and longevity as non-diabetics.
