Twenty people (Researchers, teachers or administrators) have spent the first two weeks of July at the University of Kent to perfect their English but especially to meet their counterparts in Great Britain. Co-financed by the Haut-de-France region and the I-SITE ULNE, this trip aimed at structuring the relationships between the higher education establishments of the region with our partner across the Channel.
Language courses, visits of university buildings, thematic information sessions… the participants were able to enjoy a varied and particularly stimulating programme.
During the first week, an afternoon tea with English colleagues gave them the opportunity to interact in an informal and warm atmosphere.
The stay ended with the presentations in English of each laureate.
During this stay, the participants initiated more than fifty appointments with their English counterparts. There is no doubt that these meetings will be the starting point for many collaborative projects!
